Hedge trimming: done!
February 3, 2019
Hedge trimming should ideally be done every six to twelve months. That way, there’s no need to remove too much and the hedge remains dense, thick and healthy.
Unfortunately, the hedge we trimmed last week had been left for a few years. This meant we had to cut about 400mm off the top, in order to get the height of the hedge down to the level the home owner wanted.
This hedge trimming left the top without leaves, which was a bit of a shock for the hedge, but luckily it will soon shoot new leaves.
A hedge is basically just a row of shrubs or trees. It makes a wonderful windbreak and privacy screen, so we’re happy to help you keep yours looking good. Just call me if you’d like a quote to trim your hedge.
